Karina Colon Fuentes, MT

Music Therapist & Music Teacher

Karina Colon Fuentes, music therapist and music teacher for A Suite Sound Music Center, is a member of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), and current Past-President of American Music Therapy Association for Students (AMTAS). She attended Texas Woman’s University, graduating with her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Music Therapy. She recently completed her music therapy internship at Denton ISD. She has worked with children and adolescents with various developmental and intellectual disabilities in school, client-home, and clinic settings, adults in an outpatient stroke rehabilitation center and client-home, and residents in memory care. She has experience in Applied Behavior Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with children in an ABA clinic. Her primary instrument is voice, having experience in classical, opera, and musical theatre settings. 

Karina loves to perform, she loves all things musical theatre. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and two rabbits, reading, and baking vegan friendly treats! Karina was born and raised in Puerto Rico, she is passionate about her cultural identity and her boricua roots. She is additionally fluent in Spanish, speaking primarily Spanish at home. Karina is so excited to start her journey here at A Suite Sound. She looks forward to working with you!

Crystal D. Lile, MT-BC

Owner

Crystal D. Lile, owner of A Suite Sound Music Center, is a board-certified music therapist, a member of the American Music Therapy Association and the Southwestern Region of the American Music Therapy Association, and is an alumni of the Music Therapy Program at Texas Woman's University. She has worked with children and adolescents with various developmental and intellectual disabilities in the clinic, school, client-home and music band settings, adults in an inpatient psychiatric facility, and residents in memory care. She has interacted with children in additional settings, including her former role as a private nanny. Crystal has experience singing, and playing piano and keyboard in the worship team setting. Crystal studied piano for 17 years including 3 years at the collegiate level. While a music therapy intern, she designed and directed a Piano Festival with the primary focus on students enrolled in adapted piano lessons. She has been nominated to present her project's findings at the Southwestern Region of the American Music Therapy Association 2021 Conference and at the Texas Music Teachers Association 2020 Convention.

In Crystal’s spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading, and drinking coffee. Crystal believes in enhancing abilities and creating harmony through music. She is so excited to begin working with your family through A Suite Sound’s services!

Molly Harrell, MA, MT-BC

Music Therapy Technician

Molly Harrell, music therapy technician for A Suite Sound Music Center, works remotely on various projects, including: session planning, social media planning, content creation, and blogging. She attended Texas Woman's University with Crystal, and is also a board-certified music therapist, practicing in Little Elm, TX. Her primary instrument is piano and her favorite populations to work with are young adults with developmental disabilities and older adults in memory care. She loves reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, little girl, and two dogs!
