  • A Day on the Job

    A DAY WORKING AT A SUITE SOUND may start off by conducting facility-based group and/or private music therapy sessions, followed by teaching traditional and adapted piano/ukulele lessons interspersed with private music therapy sessions at the center for the remaining afternoon and evening. Office hours will be completed throughout the day to complete session/lesson notes, practice/plan for sessions/lessons, communicate with clients and/or attend meetings (eg. ARD, supervision, client consultation, etc.).

ABOUT A SUITE SOUND MUSIC CENTER

A SUITE SOUND provides private and group music therapy, traditional and adapted piano and ukulele lessons, as well as Music for Littles (our “Mommy and Me” music class), Spotlight Stars (a music band for adults, 18+) and contracted facility-based services. Our clinical and evidence-based music therapy interventions are used to meet individualized goals. Our adapted piano lessons focus on establishing a solid foundation in music theory, ear training, and performance. We use adapted approaches and material to foster success. Our traditional piano lessons are taught with individualized approaches to help students master musical concepts. A Suite Sound’s students are taught with the primary goal of providing a solid foundation in music theory, ear training, and performance.
